At Coquitlam Dry Cleaners, customer satisfaction is our top priority. We are committed to addressing any reasonable issues that may arise and will make every effort to resolve them promptly. While we take great care in processing each item entrusted to us, please understand that we cannot assume responsibility for inherent weaknesses or defects in materials that are not immediately visible before processing. This includes, but is not limited to, materials such as suede, leather, silk, satin, double-faced fabric, vinyl, polyurethane, dye and pigmentation transfer. We also disclaim responsibility for specialty trimmings, buckles, beads, buttons, belts, and sequins.

To ensure the best care for your garments, please note the following guidelines:
  • Garment Preparation: All pockets must be emptied before garments are submitted for dry cleaning. Coquitlam Dry Cleaners will not be responsible for any items left in pockets.
  • Pre-Existing Damage: Any pre-existing damage, including stains, holes, rips, missing beading, thread pulls, etc., must be documented on the customer receipt at the time of drop-off. Coquitlam Dry Cleaners offers repairs for such damages at an additional cost, prior to sending the garment for dry cleaning. If the customer declines repairs, Coquitlam Dry Cleaners will not be liable for any further damage that may occur during the dry cleaning process.
  • High-Risk Items: Items considered high risk by Coquitlam Dry Cleaners will require a signed waiver before proceeding with the dry cleaning service.
  • Stain Removal: While we make every effort to remove stains, complete removal cannot be guaranteed. If a stain persists, we will offer a one-time complimentary re-cleaning. However, Coquitlam Dry Cleaners will not be held responsible for any damage, discoloration, or further alterations caused by repeated cleaning or the attempt to remove the stain. Repeated cleaning or stain removal will not be grounds for a refund or buyback.

At Coquitlam Dry Cleaners , we are committed to providing the best service and ensuring customer satisfaction. In the event that an item is lost or damaged during the dry cleaning process, the following reimbursement guidelines will apply:

For Missing Garments:
  • Search Period: We require up to 30 days from the promised pick-up date to attempt to locate any missing garments before proceeding with further steps.
  • Lost Garment Buyback: If a garment is determined to be lost, reimbursement will be limited to 10 times the charge for dry cleaning (excluding tax) with a maximum reimbursement of $200, regardless of the garment's brand, price, or condition.
  • Reimbursement Process: Reimbursement cheques will only be issued to the name on the original Coquitlam Dry Cleaners receipt.
For Damaged Garments:
  • Damage Investigation: Resolution of damage claims may take up to 30 days to determine the cause of the damage.
  • Buyback Eligibility: Buyback will be offered if the garment cannot be repaired by Coquitlam Dry Cleaners , has not been removed from the store, and still has the dry cleaning tags intact.
  • Buyback Limitations: The buyback amount will be limited to 10 times the dry cleaning charge (invoice amount minus tax), with a maximum reimbursement of $200, regardless of the garment's brand, price, or condition.
  • Ownership of Damaged Garments: Any garment bought back by Coquitlam Dry Cleaners will become the property of Coquitlam Dry Cleaners and will not be returned to the customer.
  • Suit or Collection Items: If the damaged garment is part of a collection or suit, only the damaged item will be eligible for buyback.

  • Customers are responsible for verifying the contents of their order before leaving the store to ensure all items are present.
  • Coquitlam Dry Cleaners will retain garments for up to 90 days from the pick-up date. If a customer has not retrieved their garment within this period, Coquitlam Dry Cleaners will make three attempts to contact the customer using the phone number provided on the invoice. If there is no response after these attempts, the garment will be donated.
